About Roya
I am a UI designer and UX researcher in the Boston area seeking local job opportunities and fully remote roles.
I graduated from Northeastern in 2016 with a B.S. in Graphic Design. My work experience spans graphic design, UI designinteraction design, and UX research.
While I am a happy generalist with a range of research and visual chops, I am also interested in developing skills in system design and data analysis.

Outside of work, I am interested in brains, small communities, and the long environmental emergency—then again, who isn't?
Brains are so cool! My fun reading list includes books on neurology and psychology. I enjoy learning about interpersonal relationships, decision making, how we learn, and how we perceive the world around us.
Passionate about building small communities that gel—groups where people are energized and motivated by one another. I genuinely enjoy learning about how to communicate better and improve my relationships with others. People are fascinating!
Interested in environmental preservation and sustainability. I'm working on this one. I am a recovering house plant murderer trying to reshape my habits around consuming less, donating more, and educating myself through news, books, and conservationist organizations.
